I wish you all of the best from Romania in these difficult times for Ukraine.

I have a few pre-sales questions if you have time:

1. Is the company from Ukraine or US ? (found different info online)

2. Is there a bug with the translation setup or how should one translate the script ? I tried adding a new language in the Languages and making it primarly and it broke the entire demo and giving 404. Was this because the language file was not created ?

3. Is there a way to:

 3.1 remove the Search button from Filter and make it auto searchable ?

 3.2 print the invoices ? both from admin and from user perspective

 3.3 keep just one location (restrict the site to a single country and not be able to add listings to other countries or to recommend other locations in the search

 3.4 have the possibility to add mp3 files or youtube links that will be embedded ?

 3.5 Some form fields cannot be removed from the some places (like complete address and location from listing search) is this intended ?

 3.6 What does the following error mean : "Discount code can be applied to accounts without listings."

The head office is located in Lviv, Ukraine.

That is correct. The error was caused by missing language files.

3. Is there a way to:

 3.1 remove the Search button from Filter and make it auto searchable ?

This can be accomplished as a custom code modification. Just note that each form update will trigger a form submission process that may confuse a visitor.

 3.2 print the invoices ? both from admin and from user perspective

We have this feature available as a custom code modification. Please, create a support ticket with your request to have it installed.

 3.3 keep just one location (restrict the site to a single country and not be able to add listings to other countries or to recommend other locations in the search

As all locations must be predefined via the administrator panel, you can restrict the website to a single country or city.

The 'Recommend a Location' option is not available but you can add a 'Suggest Location' custom field for a listing and manually submit the suggested location via the administrator panel when approving a listing.

 3.4 have the possibility to add mp3 files or youtube links that will be embedded ?

The YouTube custom field is already available and the MP3 can be easily integrated.

 3.5 Some form fields cannot be removed from the some places (like complete address and location from listing search) is this intended ?

These are system fields and can not be removed because the listing type was initially setup to use locations. Just create a listing type without locations and these location related listing and search fields will be hidden.

 3.6 What does the following error mean : "Discount code can be applied to accounts without listings."

The message means that the discount code can be used by users who submit their first listing and do not have other active listings associated with their account.

3.1 Right, because the URL changes and AJAX search on the same url would be a massive change. We can drop this

3.3 Ok, so when it is first installed it will not have all locations. but once a locations is added there is no way of deleting it from what I see. I was not clear, suggested location was in the front end search ("Please enter 3 or more characters"), but I assume that one is based on all the locations in the DB.

3.5 I did not want to remove completely the fields, they just did not have the option "Show on Search result template". I just wanted to see if I can make a cleaner search results with maybe just the City instead of the full address which might be longer or shorter for different listings.

3.6 But this was given as a warning when trying to add the discount code as a new user to my first listing and did not let me proceed.

This is going to be integrated to phpListings 1.0.6 that will be released within a month.

The initial installation does not have any locations integrated. This gives you the option to predefine locations you need via the administrator panel.

You can also request the world locations database to be installed. That's about 150,000 cities of the world with accurate geo-coordinates and map zoom levels. This database is free and is available for all phpListings users.

And locations can be removed. Just note that you can not delete locations that are in use by listings or user accounts.

Those system fields do not have the 'Show on Search results template' option available. But you can update the address format for each listing type under Administrator - Settings - Listing Types. It is possible to hide any part of the address. Note that the address format uses schema.org tags, make sure to keep those unchanged.

I have just created a new user account in the demo, added a discount code with the 'New Users Only' option enabled and was able to add a new listing using that discount code without any issues. Could you please try again?

As phpListings uses the onsite inbox for messages, the 'Listing Send Message Form' widget requires authentication.

3.8 Is there a changelog to see the periodicity of updates and to track if an update is needed or not ?

The changelog is available to all license holders. It includes a summary and a list of affected files for each new feature or update.

3.9 How are updates treated if there are customizations like invoices, will they be affected? Is there a price for yearly updates after the first year of free updates ?

All customizations must be reapplied when upgrading. The 'Download Access Renewal' service costs $49 for another year. Your license will not be terminated, this just disables the ability to download the latest version of the software and upgrade.

The 'Hot' tag is attached to listings that have a star review rating of 4+.

The demo is reset every hour, so the statistics module is inactive.

Please let me know when the new version will appear and a promo code is valid. I will acquire this. I would also like to do some custom Front End adjustmets but I don't know how will be affected by updated.

Mostly are for mobile responsivness as mobiles are the most used devisec for websites nowadays.

 - sticky header you mentioned it is already present

- the search form on mobile is strange, it appears after the list and hard to get to it. A filter button at the beginning that brings a sliding wrapper for mobile devices is a more clean option (like tripadvisor)

- on the listing page, the "<n> reviews" should be a link to the review section 

- on the listing page, the message and call buttons should be either at the top or a permanent sticky wrapper

Maybe these can be included in future realeases for usability, together with an option for a visitor to send a form of message by giving his email address and questions in case some listings owners wants to contact back.

From a Back End and functionality perspective, this is an awesome project and congratulations.

Thank you for all of these suggestions, some will appear in the next release. Note that the listing owner can contact (reply) the author of the message using the inbox of their advertiser panel. So using the default 'Listing Send Message Form' widget that requires authentication is the best option as it offers the ability to approve each message and message reply via the administrator panel.

I'm a php listings customer and I just wanted to pipe in and say the application is amazing and quality built. The other directory alternatives I wasted time on were bug-ridden with false promises. The phplistings support team is also great and quick to reply to any questions - they have exceeded my expectations.
