Considering an application where there would be numerous admins curating submitted listings.

Record locking would prevent multiple admins managing the same record creating confusion. Does this system have record locking?

Also, if there are admins for different countries or languages, is there a mechanism to customise listings of recent submissions for their attention?  Customised email alerts by country/language would also be ideal. Does this system support this?

phpListings offers hundreds of features to help you run a directory website, though this particular feature is not included by default. If you’d like to restrict listing edits in the admin panel to only the admins who created them, please confirm your request by submitting a support ticket. We’ll be happy to add this modification for you.

Customised email alerts by country/language would also be ideal.

Thanks for the response. It is envisaged that the majority of listings would be submitted by site visitors rather than the admins. Locking listings to the admin author is not quite the solution.

Another idea: Restrict listings linked to a specific location so that only the admin user associated with that location can access them. Other admins won’t be able to edit these listings. Will this approach work?
